What happens when you die in MxO?
Characters that are defeated in the Matrix must either be restored by another player, or leave the Matrix and return to the Loading Area. Characters may re-enter the Matrix immediately, but the shock and trauma of the near death experience reduces their overall effectiveness for a short period of time.

This penalty goes away with time, even if the player is logged off.

I'd check out http://www.ventrilo.com way better than teamspeak. I play alot of counter-strike and this is what we use. If anyone wants to try it out I own a server just come to my irc channel http://irc://irc.gamesurge.net/kold/ and/or you can try to pm me on here but I doubt I will notice. Later

Seriously if you would like I will give you the ip and pass to my cs clans ventrilo server. We use the highest codec avalible. Its pretty good, way better than team speak. At least give it a try they arn't expensive.

I dont know if I want to try either one now that I think about it.
I talk to my games while I am playing. Its horible I curse the computer I curse the game. I ccurse at myself. hell I even scream at the cat for stomping around on the carpet. I would have to be put on an " R " rated server. no one under 18 allowed.

If you would down load a program down load Ventrilo! You bind a key and when you push it you talk with mic and it layers with other programs sounds.

Nay, if one person doesnt have a mic then thats really unfair on them. Everyone else will have their own little club while the ones who dont have a mic get left out and feel all lonely, and have to go and ask some random to be their friend at Mara C and get rejected so they have to move to Uriah and con the newbies into being their friend. *pants* SOrry. Had a little outburst there.

Ventrilo pwns TeamSpeak.
I've never missed anything over vent but I miss things from TS all the time, I have and use both because some of my friends still use TS.

There is no reason not to get a voice coms system, especially for PvP. Stopping to type "HELP" or "On the roof" is not efficiant at all.
Even as a player doing missions, it saves time and makes for better gaming when you dont have to stop and type all the time. It makes you a better team when you can communicate through voice.
Pandoras Box's are a good example of when voice is great, especailly Box4. I've done a box4 with 5 people all on the same vent server because the messages were getting out so much faster.

Plus it's good for bonding with your friends, not just from your faction but other factions too. I've spoken with Mervs and Zions alike and now when we see each other is /dap or /shakehands. I even get messages from them in PvP saying "I'd rez you mate but you're still flagged, sorry dude" just because we've spoken with voice and had a laugh and shared tips/loadouts and made friends.

Vent and TS are both free downloads, a mic costs less than $20, a worthy use of a small amount of money.

PS. a last minute thought. - I dont know how well it would go for RP, the chatbox may well be better, I'm not sure.
