Inside the Matrix...People walk about their lives...as a Figure clad in Dark Crocodile Skin Leather Approaches one of the City's Many Phone booths..
Stepping into the Small Glass box, The Figure lifts the phone off the Hook..punching in a Certain order of Numbers.....The Phone Begins to Ring on the Epicuron...

"Operator......Who is this...."

The figure ignored the question, making her own request....

"Let me Talk to Avat...."

She waited for a Response....

He sat at in the medical bay quietly, watching Euphy go about her business...not wanting her to be alone in such a place. He knew that she was comfortable here, but it was himself that was bothered by her work. He had seen enough death, violence and injury, in his life, that he knew he could never be a medic, and why anyone would want to be was something that was curious to him. Why be surrounded with such pain and sadness?...

His thoughts were interrupted by the intercom's speakers and he looked to Euphy as the message began:

"There is a Silaris on the uplink, and she wants to talk to Avat," Reese spoke, who had come over from the Delphi with himself.

His brow knitted itself curiously and he waited till Euphy spoke first.

"Pssh...Silaria is gonna have to wait, just like the rest of us."

He grinned at her wry words, one of the things he loved about her and stood, moving towards her and the comatose Commander that lay before them. He looked down at the Commander and sighed....

"Reese, tell her that the Commander is not able to speak with her at this time...but if she would like to speak with myself or any other member of OS, to let us know a time and date, and we WILL be there."

Reese responded accordingly and signed off, as Anubias resumed watching Euphraxia work on her patient.

"Dont you ever feel like its hopeless?....I mean, dont you ever get tired when there is no sign of anything getting back to normal with him?"

He looked up to her with vague astonishment, and smiled supportively.

"Im sorry..."

He had only just taken back his seat when Reese's voice interrupted once more:

"Anu...it's Silaria again...and she wants a word."

Anubias stood and moved to the intercom, with a glance to Euphy.

"That was quick."

"No kidding...", he smiled at her.

"Reese, go ahead and patch me through. We havent heard from Silaria in a long time. Let's record this one."

"Sure thing Sir."

Anubias waited as Reese patched him through....

"Go ahead Silaria, this is Anubias....long time, no see. What can I do for you? Im listening."

Anubias chuckled to himself, and waited for details.
