the site looks great!, doh the dark green on the forum that changes to that color once you visited that link, is pretty hard on the eyes.

I have to say that IMO I really don't like the black on the forums. Its hard on the eyes and really really hard to see anything. . .

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Dischord on this one.  The bright greens on the black is a very high contrast, and it does hurt the eyes.  Additionally, on LCD screens, when you scroll the page, it causes all kinds of blurring and visual artifacts during the scroll, which are even more uncomfortable to look at.  Eye strain == not fun to read the forums.

I can increase the brightness of the visited links if that helps.  I've found on one of my monitors it is a bit dark and hard to read at first glance.

Did the 'old' site theme fit into your screen ok?  As it should have the same minimum size requirements as that one.  Though I do have to address the wrapping of the banner on smaller screen resolution I just noticed.

Well the text on dark offers the highest contrast so I can't see how that is hard to see.  But if you are referring to visited links color which is a lot darker in relation to the forum I agree and I'll look to address that.

I hear you and I'll try to accommodate.  Though I designed the layout using a LCD screen as my base.  I personally find it quite bright and nicer on my LCD than my more dull CRT.  What kind of response time does you LCD have, mine 8ms.  Which maybe on slower LCD it might blurry due to the fact it can't keep up.

------------------------
I'll try to address all concerns and make it as best as possible for the most number of people to enjoy.  I know I wont be able to please everyone but I'll try to do my best.

Thank you for you input.

I'm using a 19" Dell 1905FT UltraSharp monitor.  Can't find any published refresh times for it, unfortunately, so I can't answer that question for you.

Yes I'm sorry to say that isn't a very good LCD for response time, you're looking at 20ms.  Hence not good for gaming and the most likely reason for blurring and visual artifacts.

The lower spec's is usually why Dell can sell their LCD so cheap, compare to better LCD suppliers.

Which specific dark green are you refering too?  The visited link dark green?
