What abilities govern their levels? For example, it appears that Write Code Levels governs the Level of Remote Proxy 1.0 pets (I believe they are one level lower than the Write Code ability).

I have decided to begin down the Coder path at Level 9 in earnest but my Remote Proxy 2.0 and Logic Daemon 1.0 are presently capped at 7 and I'm curious as to what governs their level. It doesn't seem to be mine and the only hypothesis I have is perhaps its my Write Code ability plus 2 (my WC is 5 at the moment), but that seems unlikely...

I was truly enjoying completing missions on hard and I don't think it will be as easy without a useful (if not overpowered) pet.

An answer would be appreciate and any general help and knowledge would be great also (e.g. perhaps I'm wrong and all missions can be completed on Hard with ample skill and specialization but my previous MMO background tells me pets=win).
