Now, personally, I loved the final film of the trilogy - it was a great way to go out, bar the last 2-3 minutes of it, with a flippin' rainbow and whatever.

But a lot of my friends and family said it was complete crap, saying there was not enough "Matrix" action and too much "Real World" action etc

What's your views? Was it good, seeing the Machine World and the Mainframe and so on, or do you feel it should have been more Matrix-orientated?

Hrrrm I enjoyed the film, but Neo being blinded was a bit OTT and then him being able to see the source.

Thought it was good to see more of the real world and the battle between the APU's and sentinels was excellent.

I'm just grateful they didn't have another dodgy dance/sex scene like in Revolutions tho the rainbow at the end was cheesey

I think it's because in order to realise that he could see the source he had to lose his sight. You know how when people go blind, most of the time their other senses get better in order to compensate.

I also believe that's why Seraph appears to have gold code to him. It's not that to code is gold, it's because he was seeing the source and it was being distorted by the code surrounding it.

My thoughts...

Ya, so many people hated this movie but I think the people who really understood the first two liked it. I know I did.

There were so many holes left over from Reloaded that weren't answered in Revolution that is what annoyed me.

For example they didn't have to fly to far in the air to get above the clouds, how hard would it be for these machines to create towers above this and get ample amounts of energy from the sun again!

This is a great site for that type of discussions:
