To the Matrix Online community,

My name is Jacob, i have been making a few videos and posting trailers for MxO shortly after sunset, while i don't have the same connection to this game as longtime players do i felt that i should, along with many others, try to keep the memory of this game alive.

To give a short explanation as to why I'm doing this: I was an E&B player since release(Earth & Beyond) and i know the feeling of having a game unplugged, also the brief time i did spend in MxO was fun and i was treated well by the community.

I have been playing around with the idea of making MxO cinematics with a "What if?" theme, like the "What If?" comics that Marvel made back in the day and i wanted to know what the players thoughts are on this.

So I'm leaving it up to you, the MxO community, to 'yea' or 'nay' this project, i can't tell you much about it except that it will not be tacky. In other words the ideas will fit within the confines of The Matrix without going overboard or 'unrealistic' in design.

If i get a 'yea' on this project then i would like to involve the MxO community on it, people who would like to share some videos they may have or are willing to so do some voicework would be desired and appreciated.

Here is a link on some of the videos i have put together so far in regards to MxO,you can see my work and judge it for yourself, some of you may have already watched this and i intend to use the same care and quality in my other projects.

Thank you for your time,

Jacob

P.S. if anybody would be kind enough to link this to the offical MxO forums that would be helpful, i have tried to access it several times with my Station info but it won't allow it.

Well I can't post on the 'main' forums either, so no help there.  But any work on making additional, better or even reworked cinematic would be great!

I think this is a great idea and I've no doubt that there would be a lot of people in the community that would be interested in it.  Unfortunately the DN1 forums are closed and locked now I think.  You can read the posts but no one can reply or create threads anymore since the game is finished.  In lieu of that it would probably be pretty hard to get a lot of interest or exposure for your project other then going to any of the various fan sites that are still left.

Thanks again,

Jacob
