Well as I hope you've all noticed, the site has had a major revamp!  This was a shift from an old, slow and very insecure system to now, hopefully, a more faster, leaner and more secure system.

The majority of the guides have been converted and transfer, so if that is your primary use for the site you shouldn't noticed much difference. Other than faster page loading I hope and more reliable service.

I'm still in the process of moving the content from the old site to the new.  This means some things might be missing.  Links and downloads being one of them.  But the new system should offer easier finding of factions, etc across servers.  But if you find a key piece of information or resources missing place make a post and let me know, so I can try and get it back or know of it's missing nature.

So I'm hoping to get the majority of the work done over the next days and bulk on the weekend.  So please bare with me and the Omega Syndicate during the time of renewal.

Old users might find there are notifications that aren't 'real', this is due to the new system not having the 'read' flag for certain things.  Like all messages and PM's.

I have to still setup the alternate menu on the left side for those using IE and it's sucky nature of handling correct CSS.  At the moment you've only got a placeholder and instructions to get something other than IE Smiley

There are a few mods/addons I'm looking to install.  Some I've already installed, like Links section, downloads, ignore user, etc.

Just made some quick edits and the newer style guide navigation is working fine for me in IE7. Anyone having problems with it at all?

What edits did you make, I was working on it a moment ago, to better function with IE6 and below.  As it seems IE7 and above can handle the CSS 'better' now.  Anyone on IE6 and below will just have basic links to the first indexes of each section.

Took out a couple redundant browser ifs then did a preview and saw IE7 was handling it ok so left it as it was. I saw you were then adding in the IE6 stuff, which is always good, compatibility ftw and all that =P

On a side note, wonder what the site looks like in Google Chrome or IE8 =S

Yes, that other site software with all the layout and code was very sluggish.  I hope this version is much much faster.  Glad you like PhoenixDfire!

Thank you, still working on it.   CloudWolf at one point has noted it's a little to 'codey' so I'll try and fix that too.

But at least it's faster than the previous one Smiley

I remember how I tried to frantically "revolutionize" the aesthetics around these parts. It's a good thing I didn't; I don't know anything beyond basic HTML. I recall how crazy I got over the revolving banner-headers... lawl. Pardon my past foolishness, Draconis. Over time I've come to gain huge respect for anyone able to manage a website.

Well done.

I was probably going to get them back, did you have an issue with the rotating banners?  Any idea or looks and layout will be taken on board.
