Well @ http://support.warnerbrothers.com - FAQ number 908 covers the bonuses assigned to each attribute.

The attribute point bonuses are applied on a percentage based system. The follow tables illustrate which Abilities each Attribute affects and how many points it takes to raise the Ability Bonus by 1 or 1%. Attribute bonuses to Abilities only being applying if the Attribute is higher than 9.

Focus
Ability    Increase Per Point Spent
Determination_____________________0.2
Disguise Duration__________________0.25
Force Combat_____________________0.4
Invisibility Duration_________________0.25
Noise Level Buff Target______________0.5
Range Combat Tactics______________0.1
Stealth___________________________0.5
Viral Deflection____________________0.5

Belief
Ability    Increase Per Point Spent
Damage Resistance________________0.2
Dodge___________________________0.2
Heal Damage_____________________0.2
Jump____________________________0.1
Melee Damage Resist______________0.2
Ranged Damage Resist_____________0.2
Sixth Sensing_____________________0.4
Stealth Damage Resist_____________0.2
Super Jump______________________0.6
Viral Resistance___________________0.2

Vitality
Ability    Increase Per Point Spent
Health Sitting Regen Rate___________0.5
Health Regen Rate_________________0.25
Maximum Health__________________10

Perception
Ability    Increase Per Point Spent
Analyze Weakness_________________0.4
Detect___________________________0.5
Lock picking______________________0.4
Melee Combat Tactics______________0.1
Melee Physical Damage_____________0.2
Ranged Physical Damage___________0.2
Sneak Attack Detection_____________0.4
Stealth Damage___________________0.2
Stealth Detection__________________0.5

Reason
Ability    Increase Per Point Spent
Computer Hacking_________________0.4
Concentration_____________________0.5
Evade Interlock___________________0.4
Map Downloading__________________0.4
Max Buff Buffer___________________0.5
Security Systems__________________0.4
Viral Damage_____________________0.2
Viral Transmission_________________0.5
Crafting Abilities (all)_______________0.2

Remember that only whole point are taken for added bonuses, you have to add to an attribute until it's over 9 and make a whole number or above when combined.
For example for Crafting Abilities to be increased by one point you would have to assign 5 points to Reason, for Viral Transmission to increase by one point you would only have to assign 2 points to reason.

Use your attribute points wisely.

Argghh I was just about to post this , always thinking the same thing..

*Shakeshead* Beatin' to the punch again, " I'll get you Draconis aka Rumbaar, mark my words, Ill get you if its the last thing I do.."

..at anyrate Ill add my two bits about it all

Focus is good for all ranged attacks(Gunmen/Knife Thrower) or spy but also great for PvP as it offers viral deflect(very important against Hackers).

Perception is very important to MCT (Melee Combat Tactics) but is really only good to MA's that put almost all of their points there (as you only gain one point every 10 levels and if your opponent has even one point higher then you in a spar he will almost always roll higher then you).

Beleif is great for Dodged Ranged and not much else(as the resitience buffs are in small incriments). So for anyone working down the Hacker Tree it can be a life saver from, say someone like me , a sniper or any other ranged combatant.

Reason, of course, is great for hackers/patchers and coders (not necessary for coding though).

Vitality is your health regan rate and max HP, but HP has a cap so be mindful of all the buffed clothes out there as you can easily max it out.

If I've missed anything please feel free to add.

Cheesy AvatRAMa get out of my head!!!

    * Perception - Ability to notice subtle changes in one's surroundings.
    * Focus - Ability to concentrate and manage performance.
    * Reason - Problem solving capability.
    * Belief - Confidence in one's own abilities.
    * Vitality - Overall physical wellbeing.

There are 10 Archetypes from which to choose:

    * Detached Spectator (High Perception, Low Focus)
    * Devoted Ascetic (High Belief, Low Vitality)
    * Fanatic Self Improver (High Vitality, Low Belief)
    * Inquisitive Genius (High Reason, Low Belief)
    * Lunatic Fringe (High Belief, Low Reason)
    * New Age Hippy (High Focus, Low Reason)
    * Secluded Introvert (High Focus, Low Perception)
    * Suspicious Cynic (High Perception, Low Belief)
    * Troubled Intellectual (High Reason, Low Focus)
    * True Believer (High Belief, Low Perception)

Also it's important to remember the following when assigning Attributes as MORe isn't always good or worth it.

Attributes themselves do not have level caps. If you wanted to spend all of your attribute points on Belief, for example, you could do so. Your buffed items will push this value even higher. However, the bonuses provided by your Attribute totals may be capped by your level.

Some bonuses can only be raised to a certain number, based on the level of your character. If you reach the maximum number for that bonus type for your character's level, the number value will be colored yellow and will have an asterisk (*) next to it. Any additional bonuses you try to apply will not affect your character.

If, however, the value is orange with an asterisk (*), that means that you've reached the maximum bonus cap for that ability, regardless of level.
