Well i'm just about to hit level 10 (Hyper Jump Cheesy ) and I was wondering. Should I stick with doing the Zion standard missions, or should I train on Exiles in a different area?

Why only do one?
You get more xp on missions surely, but having a go at the gangs in different areas, will not only give you a little xp, but it's a good way to get supplys.. such as pills, enhanced clothing, weapons, $i.. and you'll get more combat experience than you would just doing missions.
It's also good to mix things up a bit, doing 1 thing all the time can get tedious.  Plus it will give you a chance to get familiar with the different areas of the city.

I realize this is an old post, but I thought I'd put in 2 cents....

I agree that running mission after mission can get rather tedious and boring.  There's plenty more to do in the Matrix than running missions.  Try exploring some of the Exile hideouts, or maybe attempt to gain access keys from gang leaders two levels above your own.  Do something that provides a different challenge or simply seems like fun.

A few months ago, after hacking an access node in the International district, one of my operatives and I ended up "defending a popcorn stand" for about 30 minutes or so.  We cycled through the nearby gang members probably 4 or 5 times and got a lot of $info and items.  We had a good time and a good laugh about it.
