ive been thinking, and i got to the conclusion that its not true what the game claims about you being able to do whatever job you want.
i mean it is basicly true but, for example, im a patcher, and so far (LVL30)
ive put every attribute point towards reason. now i started to play knife thrower i have all attacks just as any other KT and stuff, but my question is: will i ever be as good as some X guy that started off putting every point towards attributes that specificaly help KT, such as focus? in other words "ill be an awesome patcher/coder/hacker but if i switch to say melee or a  ranged job ill be just an ok player........    what do you all think?
is there a way around this?

Note: please dont say "you can fix that with gear" cause if you compare two.. say karate masters but one of them used to be some other job. the guy who put the most points towards attributes that help karate the most is bound to be better, and he can also get the best gear thus making him better than the other dude who used to play other job. Also, dont take into account the new item that allows you to tinker with your attributes.

attributes do count towards your abilities, but if you have buff clothes for those abilities, attributes wont make that much of a difference
