Though this site hasn't really been a focus for me, and I have to admit I've never once receive a donation from those that use the site but that's neither here nor there ... and not really a factor in anything.
I'm still invested in making it better, and for that end I've successfully converted my main site from php-Nuke to
SMF. It offers much greater controls, more feature, ease of customization/mods and more importantly much more secure than Nuke.
The base design of SMF is a 'basic' forum. But with a combination of mods, TinyPortal (CMS, downloads, blocks, etc) and custom actions I'll be able to convert and include most if not all current contents.
I've long since created a MxO theme, so the look and layout should be similar. The permissions and membergroups will make it easier to manage various 'team' member statuses etc. Which will in turn gain access to applicable records.
I'll look to make a mockup version available to look at live and online in the future. But I'll also ask if their is a strong objection to this? It will be better, that is one guarantee and faster!
